Dye-Sub VS Digital

Why is dye-sublimation more expensive than digital t-shirts? Only because the dye-sub ink is more expensive. While digital printing produces excellent t-shirts, you don’t get the printed feel on your shirt with dye-sublimation, you literally cannot feel where the transfer ends and begins on a dye-sub shirt, while you can on a digital shirt.

About Dye Sublimation

A dye-sublimation printer is a computer printer which employs a printing process that uses heat to transfer dye onto medium materials such as a plastic card, paper, or fabric. The sublimation name is applied because the dye transitions between the solid and gas states without going through a liquid stage. Our dye sublimation is archival, meaning it wont fade over time if taken proper care of.
